Catskill Motorcycle Crash Lawsuit Ends in Settlement
New York City and state news again: A 54-year-old Livingston man received a $325,000 settlement from a Columbia County Supreme Court civil case involving a motor vehicle accident which caused him personal injury.
On Sept. 7, 2006 while riding his motorcycle on Route 23A in the town of Catskill, John Fingar suffered a fractured leg. Fingar reports being struck by the pickup truck driven by George Quinn after it had entered the lane Fingar was driving in.
The break was severe requiring metal hardware and wire to hold the bone fragments back together. By the way if you reside in Houston or nearby Texas communities and you require a leading Houston motorcycle lawyer then may I suggest the firm of top attorneys, they can also help with auto accident related cases as well.
I consider to them to be some of the top-drawer auto and motorcycle lawyer in Houston and you can see for yourself the strong testemonials on their website.
State Troopers contest the claim and believe that Finger crossed into Quinn’s lane of travel.
“… that Trooper Palian’s misleading accident report could not overcome the fact that Quinn had been at fault for Mr. Fingar’s (personal) injury,” as reported by in a press release.
Three eyewitnesses involved in the case that maintain the same account how the accident and subsequent personal injury unfolded.
Obviously there was a skilled attorney on the job in this case because a settlement was reached before a jury was chosen for trial.
